Your Families Survival Depends on Your Health

Will Power Elite : May 12, 2012 12:15 am : category 1

When you really think about it, most of us live busy life’s with much more to do in them then we feel there’s time for. Some of us work over forty hours a week to pay the bills and put food on the table. Then after working all day long, some of us sit in traffic for at least 45 minutes before reaching home. After being in traffic, some of us drive across town to take the children to practice. When practice is over, some of us make sure the family eats well. Then some of us prepare for the next day. Because life as a parent is a full-time job, at the end of the day exercise is the last thing on your mind.  However exercise is needed. I know, some may say “Will you’re not a parent; you don’t know what I go through daily.” My answer to that, would be your right, I am not a parent and I don’t know parenting; However I do know fitness and the effects of not exercising.

Most parents fail to realize how important exercise is to the very survival of  their family’s…Lets just think about this for a moment ….when your children are more physically active it promotes a better self-image, they will have stronger muscles, bones and are less likely to become overweight. Among other things exercise increases their energy level and decreases there risk of cardiovascular disease.
Your Family’s Survival Depends on Your Health….. what I mean is this,  if you were very sick, who would cook and care for the family? How would your family fair if you were not around to do the things you do?….Most of you would say that without you arranging and managing the affairs of your household, things would be in shambles. However if I told you that by doing just 30Min’s of exercise daily you could decrease your risk for health problems and increase your energy level would you do it?… Maybe about 15 percent of you would… Well I hope you would exercise, if not for you, do it for the sake of your family.

I have a few tips to help you get started

1) Roll out of bed 30-45 Min’s earlier than usual knock out ten to twenty push-ups & twenty sit-ups.

2) Walk a little faster, take the stairs.

3) keep the car parked at lunch and grab a friend and walk to get your meal.

By doing these small chances to your day, you will have burned some extra calories by the end of the day that you normally wouldn’t have. I pray you Consider Your Family and Stay Active.

Hey!…..”You only get one body, so make the best of it!”
